Technology Insertion and Integration

Praevius has proven its value to the warfighters and those who wish to support them.  Our technology insertion and integration methodology is built around putting relevant leaders into the problem space. We are changing the culture of contract support. We reinforce our values as the Field Service Representative or Forward Support Representative by using the following acronym:

  • F: Face of a company to the customer (end user)
  • S: Subject Matter expert (technically and tactically)
  • R: Responsive and Responsible (24×7 support anywhere in the world, take ownership of providing quick solutions to the warfighter)

Leadership Development

The key word here is DEVELOPMENT–not just an interest in studying leadership. This word implies that there will be progress made over time, and to do this, leaders must reflect on their experiences, learn, and apply those lessons to the next experience. The other distinction we make is emphasizing the suffix “ship”–we’re not talking about focusing on one person in an organization–the “leader”–but, rather the whole Leadership. We want to foster the team’s ability to lead together and follow each other. We strive to help people learn and get better. We desire to help leaders succeed, learn, improve, and serve at greater levels.

Our Leaders offer dynamic and interactive keynote engagements on a wide range of topics, including:

Technology Development

We are currently developing a scenario-based leader development tool called “The Leader Challenge” in partnership with Army Research Institute and the Center for Company-level Leaders (CCL) at USMA. Our team also holds past experience in the development and fielding of command-support technologies such as DARPA’s Tactical Ground Reporting System (TIGR).

Data Collection

Praevius is currently participating in collecting survey data for the Army Research Institute’s Basic Officer Longitudinal Data Set via online survey administration and data processing. In addition, our team conducts both written and web-based surveys for several corporate clients to improve organizational effectiveness and process design.

Content Collection

We have expert knowledge and proven performance in the collection of multimedia dialogue interviews, the development of written content, and the facilitating of forum-style round table events/workshops/retreats. These skills have been used specifically to catalyze, gather, collate, and analyze content for the Army’s Center for Company-level Leaders and Army Research Institute.

Curriculum Development

We recently completed two years of curriculum development and delivery of multimedia case studies using the “The Leader Challenge” program for West Point cadets. This partnership with West Point’s SCPME and the CCL utilizes constructive simulations and scenario-based learning. The platform and the curriculum available through it can be used independently as a stand-alone system (to the individual user level) but is also able to be integrated with existing web platforms and professional forums.

Evaluation and Maintenance

As users and evaluators of various forms of technology, Praevius provides human-factor evaluations of engineering software and hardware, just as we did with DARPA’s TIGR program. When our team tests and evaluates a product, we examine the technology from the end-users’ perspective. Through this analysis, technologists can maintain proper direction and focus in developing a product that the customer then adopts much more quickly and easily.
